Due to conference week the students will be getting out two hours early each day. If your child rides the bus please make sure to be at the bus stop 2 hours earlier than the usual time.
I am looking forward to meeting with you during conference week and discussing your child's progress. Please be on time or call the office as the conferences are scheduled 20 minute apart. The office will have a copy of the scheduled times in case you forgot your date/time or need to reschedule.
This week we will be describing the outside and inside of a pumpkin. The students will be given the opportunity to feel the inside of the pumpkin and even take out some of the seeds. We will count them and put them in groups of ten to find out the total amount of seeds.

Please remember that homework is to be done daily and returned each day. It should not take your child more than 10 minutes to complete as it is just a review of studies. If this isn't the case, please contact me. Homework journals are not taken home on Fridays, but will be returned on Monday. Many times, a homework sheet is sent home and usually stamped. It will be on the calendar if this is the assignment.
A monthly reading log will be sent home. Your child will need to complete at least 20 entries in order to be given a small treat
Yearbooks are now on sale. You will be given information about ordering online. They are available in both soft cover and hardback. These would make a great Christmas gift, but they are not delivered until May.
